Principal photography wrapped on contemporary psychological horror
film Bloodless on the 23rd March. The 4-week shoot, at a secret
Northumberland castle, is the debut feature of writer/director
Richard Johnstone.
It was a busy four weeks, battling the snow and the logistics of a
low-budget feature, but the crew worked hard and we're really pleased
with the performances and the look of the film. We shot on the RED
camera with superspeed primes and this helped create the mood Richard
was after for his first feature.
The international cast included actors from across the UK, Australia,
Denmark and Syriah. Creature FX were produced by Artworks, a localy-
based FX company, with digital FX being produced by IG Media.
Post-production is underway and the film will be completed later this
year. Following this, we aim to move straight into Richard's second
film, the action-comedy heist movie "ShortFellas."
Zombie Women of Satan gets it's DVD release on June 21st 2010. UK
distributor Revolver Entertainment are also setting up a launch party
on the 16th June in London. ZWoS was also screened twice in Cannes
this year and has it's cast and crew screening in Newcastle at
Tyneside Cinema on Sunday 13th June.
